What do you guys think about this build. I am questioning the use of an APU instead of a CPU/GPU Combination.

There is no way you will be able to be playing any decent games for $200. The use of an APU is not satisfactory for a gaming machine. A decent gaming machine can cost anywhere from 600-800 bucks and thats the low end.

I definitely wouldn't go the dual core route at this point in time. The 6400K also has half the GPU cores as the high end APUs, so you're just going to get a crappy experience with new games.
The real questions are: what games are you looking to play and what is your budget?

If you can stretch your budget to 300$ at mimum, you might get a decent build that will play low end games. However, at that price point, its just not worth it. My build is just 400$ and I love it. Does everything I need!
