well first of all my reasoning for choosing that mobo was that he's a OCer and need's performance but, not graphicaly
 
The Gigabyte is fantastic for overclocking, look at Rambo's rig, he's got to 3.25GHz before on an E6300 I believe.;)
 
It's a low-end card, but if all your friend uses really is sketch-up then he'll do well enough, although there may be a bottleneck there. Look at a 7600 or X1650.
 
okay thats ive been jumping all over the place with this build and what your saying is what I had planed out in the beginning since then ive been through countless configurations

it is excellent and so solid. everyone is scared of it because its not a name they have heard of, but i can personally say it has performed excellent

My friend uses this ram in his computer along with a 7950GT card and a E6300 1.86GHz and he is able to run HL2 and WoW at max settings at the same time. So this ram will do the job just fine for anything if you ask me.
