So as you can see, i have all the parts here
i still am a bit sketchy on the motherboard(is it good?) and the monitor(is it good?).
There are also a few other small things like the CPU Fan which i forgot to add on because im not very good at finding goo components like that :o
Also, there are the small things like other case fans and cathode lights which i could easily find later
So thats about all...
Also, if i were to plan on building this rig in the summer, would there be a significant price drop? also, would the rig still be powerful enough to run the newer games that come out durring that time?
Thnx for Replies

EDIT: Also, which CD/DVD drive should i go with? SATA or IDE???

I would get the normal 8800GTS instead of the Superclocked one, as I doubt the OC they give you is worth the price difference.

This PSU is very well rated:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817139002

Also try this cooler from Zalman:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118003

EDIT: I've done it with NewEgg by mistake but they shouldn't be hard to find.

Good products
Thanks!
i like the cooler so i might go for that one
and the only reason im using tiger direct is cuz im in canada and its the best site i found for computer products
canada computers is not bad tho so if you guys find stuff from those 2 sites
id be real happy

Well its only a 15 dollar difference thats why i went up

thanks for the links

also, which do you guys think are better?
the DVD burner that has the SATA connection or the one with the IDE connection??

also, is the monitor good?

and how this that motherboard for overall proformance? would i be able to overclock(far future) if i needed to?

EDIT: Also, what was wrong with the PSU i had listed?

I'd go with the S-ATA; it's got faster data transfer.:)

There was nothing really wrong with the PSU you posted, but the Corsair unit is extremely powerful and built like a rock.

well um for a psu hows the ultra X-Connect 2??
cuz id like a modular PSU for cable management reasons

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1273353&Tab=0&NoMapp=0
Nothing wrong with it, except that price. That's a little more than it's worth, IMO. Grab the Corsair, you won't be disappointed. Not only are they modular, but the cables are very similar to Ultra's FlexForce cables - they're stiff, and you can route them wherever you want and they'll stay in place.
