New card won't boot?

So, i have a PNY Verto 9600 GT, and i just got a power supply that will actually give it the power it needs, but it still won't boot. Every time i plug it into the mobo (along with the 6pin cable), all of the fans will just run, including the one on the card, but won't load up. I've also went into safe mode and disabled the onboard chip, so is there anything else i can do?

and sorry if this thread has been made before, still a little bit new here

Try the card in a different computer, if it still won't boot up then its definately the card. Or try a different card in your system and see if it works. If it does, again, its a bad video card.

okay, so i can't try it on a new computer until this weekend, but what all can i do right now to try to get it to work? Yesterday alone i spend at least 3 hours trying to get it to work, to no avail...

Make sure you have the CPU power cable plugged in correctly into the motherboard along with everyting else.

Remove the CMOS battery. Remove the power cable. Hold down the on button for 10 secs.

Wait a minute or two.

Replace everything.

Try again.
