new case now no graphics?

just put my pc in to a new case, now when i boot its not booting my monitor? tried replacing graphic card and monitor, even took everything from the case and tried booting ?
still nothing, everything starts but not the monitor
any ideas guys
 
Take out card, give the AGP/PCI/PCI-E slot a blow/clean and then put the card back in and try that?
(have a quick scan over the card for damage too).
 
hmm, might be a problem with the mobo i wouldnt think the cpu becouse everthing is starting. does it make any weird beeps or anything?
 
no but no speakers connected as mobo and parts laid out on table

I would definitely recommend putting a speaker on there just incase.

Could diagnose the problem quicker.
 
then its prolly a problem somewhere on your motherboard. mabey with the pci-e slot or something or could be a few other things. but i would try your gpu in another mobo if possible.
 
i just put in a new geforce 128mb card and still same but mobo only bout 5 months old geforce bout 1 month old and i knoe the geforce works as took out of new build and mobo worked last night?
 
well its not your monitor, and its not your gpu nest thing down the line is mobo. no beeps so i dont think its your cpu. thats all i can think of that it might be:( sry if anyone else thinks dif let us know. otherwise try getting a new mobo. or sending it back if its still under warenty.

There might me summin on the case touching the motherboard, try taking it out and have a look to see if everything is ok then put it back in.

its not in its case as i thought it might be shortning out some where so its laid out on my table (wooden table) just gonna try nother board

anyone got a socket a board for sale that will run a 1.8 amd xp

you could trouble shoot the bored but if there is something wrong with it you would probly have to get a new one anyway so i wouldent trouble shoot past that its the bored in general:P

probly easiest to get nother board
