New Case??

hey guys I am new to putting together a computer, so please go easy on me...LOL

I am looking for a case that already has power supply (good one, but doesn't have to be top of line) Not wanting to spend more than $50.00 USD

I would like to know if all the cases will take on any motherboard or should I be looking for a certain size or what??

I am not interested in Flashy designs or anything....solid colors are fine with me....preferably "Black" w/ a couple USB ports on the Front and like I said w/ power supply that will handle a p4 processor.

If anyone has any ideas and to which case would fit my needs, would you please post and tell me where I could get this case from??

Thanks very much,

Bmull

I got a couple cases I was attempting to sell, but neither of which have power supplies, at least not like you'd want ;P (all I have left is a cheap 300w)

Well first, we need to know what you're wanting to power. There are two standards out there and we need to know if you need 20 or 24 pin ATX. However, aside from this, I'd strongly suggest getting the power supply separately just because ones that come with cases tend to be very cheap.

Again, contact me if you're interested in what I have. Perhaps more than you wanted to spend but I had to ask :P

what do you mean by , 20 or 24 pin ATX?? Is that something like a spec or something with the motherboard??

Also is there a way I can view a pic of the case you are wanting to sell?

20 or 24 pin is that how the motherboard actually connects to the case??

Nice case.......which is this one?? 20 or 24 pin??

send me pm with cost??

thanks

so it doesn't matter what the case is?????? I just need to make sure the power supply will connect to the motherboard, right??

when i first got into computers i always wondered how the case had the right holes to line up with the ports in the back of the motherboard lol till i realized it came with its own snap in plate hahahah!
