So. I'm making a new comp(first time). I'm pretty sure of what im getting i just want some suggestions. I'm planning on getting:
-Athlon 64 3200
-ASRock 939 motherboard
-corsiar value select 512 MB
-Thermaltake 430W

Are there any things I should know or change about this setup? I have drives and a temporary video card that I'll upgrade along with memory in a few months. Thanks

Edit:
im spending about $320USD for the cpu, memory, case, and power, aswell as a fan. Its going to be used for moderate gaming but im not willing to pump all my money into it for it to be top of the line(hope that helps)

What is your budget and what will you be doing with it? Corsair makes good value select RAM. If you can I would get a gig. That CPU is a very good choice.

yeah. Cheap budget. I have about $320 to buy all that above. I'm upgrading that to a gig in a few months.
Except the Motherboard, i got that for christmas.

Well its a good budget system, the motherboard isn't really from a reputable company, but will do if you're only allowed that much money.

your right but I heard good things about it as a board that has both apg and PCI-E video cards. it seems none has any things to say about this so i'll just purchase it next business day.

ummm. That link takes me to a 78 dollar psu. Not a $25 one. And i have decided to get better memory.

LOL sorry, wrong link. Here's the correct one ... i really wouldnt get that PSU but at least on paper it's semi decent. Then again with that kinda budget constraint....
