i just purchased all of this and i have had all sorts of problems. at 1st i kept getting blue screen after 1-3 days of having my computer running. i wiped out my everything and reinstalled windows 7 32bit. the 1st time i tought it was my hard drive because i kept hearing a clicking sound so i got a new one. after 2nd time i figured out it was my old dvd drive conflicted with something so i got rid of it and got a new hp dvd drve. it has now been almost a week of my computer running and i now its starting to act up again.

1st last night i tried to install my drivers for my wireless mouse and my computer blue screened and it said something was wrong with my hard drive. so i reboot it and windows 7 ran the error checking on my hard drive and it seems to be okay.

and today my internet card says im connected but when i open the internet it wont do anything.ill run the "troubleshoot problem" and it says its my wireless adapter or my router but my laptop is working so i know its not my router. also a couple of time when i ran "troubleshoot" i could hear my hard drive and it sounded like it was working really hard and then i would hear a loud click and i would get an error message.

any ideas what it could be?

now i keep getting errors where i cant open anything and then it restarts.

also i keep hearing high pitch buzzing sound while my hard drive is processing and then when it stops theres a loud click.

now it acting like its actting like its having problems accessing my hard drive. the hard drive is brand new and it has done this same things with another one of my hard drives. i have ran test on both of the hard drives ive used and they both have passed. could it be that my mother board is bad? and is there any way to test this?

I am thinking that there is a fault with the motherboard pushing hard drives to 100% for some reason and just revving the life out of these new hard drives. Definantly get a second opinion but thats what it sounds like to me.

In order of compensation if this is the case you should contact gigabyte and have them replace the hard drives as they are at fault and not you (the user) which i am sure will not be a problem (if this turns out to be the case).

Yes quite possibly have you installed all drivers such as chipeset that came with the motherboard and updated them?

yes i installed and updated the drivers for the board. i guess ill have to call gigabyte on monday and see what they say.
