New Computer Advice

Hello, I am looking to purchase a new computer that'll be sufficient for gaming. I am looking to primarily play the new starcraft game but I can't seem to find any official specs out there. It's been a while since I've gamed or bought a new system (2005) so I am a little out of touch with what's important. I'd like to try and keep it under $1,000 and get something that is also good for everday use as well (i.e. Internet, Media Storage, Microsoft package). Based on my limited research I think I need the following:
- Intel Core i5 processer or better
- 8GB Ram
- 1GB NVIDIA graphics card

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks

Can't find one with 8GB RAM. And I don't see the point of 8GB RAM

You could consider these for around $1100 with core i5 and GTS 360m

Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q860 - Core i5 2.26 GHz - 18.4″ - 4 GB Ram - 500 GB HDD

Or Get core i7 with $1200

Go for ATI graphic card which provide better value

I think I am going to go with this one - thanks Dwaynep. Do anyone own this computer? It seems to be a great deal to me, but I'm not the expert here. I've done some research and saw a lot of complaints with Toshibas and BSOD but didn't see any in my review of this model. I'd like to hear what the Toshiba haters have to say.

Thanks
