I am thinking of building a new computer. I already have a powersupply, case, and soundcard.

Can you check over this build and see if this is a good one and if I am missing anything.

Will that motherboard be a good overclocker? Will my powersupply handle this it is a Hipro 600 Watt with dual 20 amp rails.

And will my Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium OEM version work with this build will I be able to install it and will microsoft let me do that.

That motherboard is supposed to be a good overclocker... At least the DS3 is and I heard there was basicly no difference between the S3 and the DS3.

As for the PSU, I don't know if I'd trust that brand, it has a bad reputation and a good PSU can make a big difference, I'd suggest going with something like the NeoHe 500 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103940 or the Corsair 520HX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139001

They would be significantly better.

I don't see why you couldn't install Vista on this computer, the specs at the very least would be able to run it without a problem.

Ive been using that powersupply for about 6 months or more and I have had no problem with it. I have no idea why everybody hates hipros it has been a good powersupply.

hit up with the rev.1.3 DS3 for 5 bucks more. a DS3 is definitely worth it because the capacitators and the like are stronger and will last longer

Higher end Hipro units (anything with a TOP in the model number) are actually made by Topower - the same company that makes the E-Powers, Tagans and others in the 'good' section of that list.

If it's the same Hipro 600W I think it is, it's rated for +12V@35A. Granted it's not the PSU I would have bought for the task, but since he already has it, it should be more than sufficient for that system.

I just checked and mine has TOP in the model number. Now what is so bad about hipros? Is there something I don't know about them I have had it for more than 6 months and it has had no problems. Now if it isnt a good powersupply then I will probably just get a new one.

Hipro built Hipros are all budget focused <500W units. From that perspective, I have no complaints, just don't expect superb performance out of a PSU at that price.

What you have is a Topower built Hipro, which is very much like any other Topower built unit. Recent midrange Topowers have been a bit of a hit-and-miss affair, particularly in terms of voltage regulation, which is why I generally don't actively recommend them anymore. Nonetheless, they're still a lot better than a lot of PSUs available, and I really don't see any need to replace yours unless you're having problems with it.
