New computer build are these parts okay?

I have a dell 4700 which had a pentium 4 2.8 in it. I switched everything out of it except the motherboard, cpu and dvd drives. Will this be better than what I had before.

I will be using my old parts with this my Hipro 600 watt dual 12v rails at 18 amps each and a MSI 7600GT double slot cooler and x-fi xtrememusic soundcard and 80 GB IDE harddrive and 4x 512 mb ddr2 at 533 MHz.

I will be using this computer for awhile till after July 22 for the new processors come out and till DDR3 progresses more. How does it look will it be good for a gaming computer? And it will be running windows XP already tried Vista and it ran like crap on my old pentium 4.
 
Perhaps slightly better, but not too sure. You may need another case if you plan to swap the mobo. Some of the older dell's in that case used hooks rather than screws for the mobo.

Gaming? It's a single core celeron with a mid-low end GPU. Don't expect too much out of it.

I heard it was performing pretty good but I changed my mind anyway.

And when I bumped my thread you responded to it so I guess it worked I will not wait longer to bump a thread you are not a mod so do not tell me what to do.

I know about dell doing that and I forgot to mention I already have another case from another build that I will be using.

I switched to a dual core athlon so the gaming should be better. The GPU is pretty good I see you have one to I can play games pretty close to maxed out on pretty good resolutions.

I want to get this because I am waiting for the new processors coming out and DDR3 progressing and DX10 getting cheaper so I will be either building a new computer later this year or early next year.

I have been a member here WAY longer than you have and contributed WAY more to this forum than you have. And I can assure you that any MOD will agree with me. So you will not tell me what to do, I can guarantee you I am right.

I really dont care about you contributing more to a forum wow that is such a big accomplishment(not really) you should get a sticker for over three thousand posts well done. When you dont bump threads you dont get answers for days sometimes and when you do bump them you get somebody bitching at you for bumping them cause they are concerned that they might get passed up in post count cause they have no life(and I am talking about you on this). Either way dont tell me what to do so shut the hell up.

Ok, I am not going to argue with you about this. I will just wait for a MOD to come in and tell you to watch what you say and wait a little while until you bump.

But until then, Wanna send me the sticker? or do you need to save money for the crappy processor your buying? I will donate a few bucks to the cause. What is your paypal account?

Oh and sure I could use the money I really dont take that as a insult cause I can always use money(who cant?). CPU: No, it's crap. Only thing it has going for it is the SSE4 and that's it. Save your money.

Motherboard: No point in buying it because you're not getting the processor.
