I'm thinking about building my own PC, but am not really sure about what goes with what. It will be used for high level gaming (preferably with dx10). So, I want a 2 core processor (preferably intel) and fast ram. Also, at least 160GB HDD. The price will need to include EVERYTHING (inc. monitor and keyboards etc). The budget is £1000.

id recommend a core 2 duo processor, at least 2gbs of ram (ive heard budget ram works nearly as well) and a sata hard drive
 
1000 pounds, that is like 2000+USD!!

That can buy you the sickest make it yourself computer ever!

dual core Intel, 320GB Sata hard drive, 8800GTX(or wait until jan. for R600 whatever you want, I would wait personally), 2 GB Corsair RAM, really solid mobo, at least 600W PSU for the DX10 card, probably 700W just to be really safe and you should be good.
