so i was looking at buying a computer, right now i have a very old PC with old parts including:

Genuine Intel CPU 2160 @ 1.80GHz (2 cores)
RAM - 2GB
ATI Radeon HD 3600 series

it runs games pretty badly and really want to upgrade and saw a computer for $581 including:

CPU AMD FX-6100 6-Core Processor (3.3GHz 14MB AM3+ 95W)
CPU Cooler AMD Original Heatsink and Fan
Memory 1 KINGSTON KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 8GB (2x4GB) KIT DDR3 1600MHz
Motherboard ASUS M5A78L-M LX Plus (AM3+ VGA 2DDR3 95W mATX)
Hard Drive Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB 64MB SATA 6Gb/s (ST1000DM003)
Optical Drive LG 24X Dual Layer DVD-RW GH24NS90B
Video Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR5 (DL DVI,HDMI,DP)
Sound Card Onboard High Definition Audio
Network Card Onboard Gigabit Lan
Case Thermaltake V3 Black Edition (VL80001W2Z)
Power Supply Cooler Master eXtreme II 625W Power Supply

just wondering if it will play games nicely with little lag and if it is worth the price since i dont know much about computers i dont feel like just buying it just because it is cheap and is it even going to be a nice upgrade from what i have now.

I used to run on AMD Phenom II + Radeon 6950, ran most games flawlessly to date. Consider buying Phenom II because it was sufficient for me withotu overclocking. GPU can be upgraded to maybe 7850 rather than 7750

You should see if you can upgrade to the FX 6300 instead of 6100 it is a revised version and its much better than the bulldozer. i would also get the 7850 GPU

Yeah don't go for a Phenom II X4 or an FX-6100, go for an FX-6300 if you really want AMD. I'd still recommend an i3 or an i5 over the 6300 though, but... hey, it's still pretty good.

You definitely want to get a 7850 over a 7750.

Wouldn't go for a Cooler Master PSU. Get a Corsair CX 600.

You want 2x4GB sticks for 8GB, not 1x8. 2x4 will give you dual-channel performance.

Is the budget 600ish?
If so you can do better than the one you are looking and much better than your current pc even if you went with the PH II 965 x4 that is $85 right now and upgraded to Vishera later on. The 965 would be day/night compared to your current rig and $85 for the cpu would allow for a bigger gpu. But this is only if you can assemble/build it yourself in which means Windows would take about an $80 chunck of the budget unless you have an os already.
