ive always liked overclocking computers and i was just wondering what core 2 duo overclocks the best?

what i figure is that if i get one with 1066mhz FSB then it will overclock better than one with 1333mhz FSB.

any input is appreciated.

edit: hmm, it seems theres a new AMD Phenom that i havent seen yet :) whats it like? im guessing more efficient than K8? is it faster than core 2 duo's? anandtech.com's review doesn't seem to make me want to switch back to AMD, although i've always had better luck overclocking those systems just because of the way hypertransport works.

I'd scrap both of them .. and get a q6600 or a a q6700...(around the $250 price range i think(i'm not amaerican(or in america) so i donno american prices)

cheap quad cores both great for overclocking .. (just like all C2D) .. not as good a duel cores but still great .. get at least 800mhz - 1ghz outa it easyerly

q6600 is stock 2.4 (4 x 2.4ghz) and q6700 is 2.66 (4 x 2.66ghz)

rather

4 slightly slower cores than 2 faster cores (2 x 3.0ghz E8400)

4 cores is great for muiltytasking and more than enough for anything that does't support muilty threading..

thats my 2c
