New Computer

I'm going to build me a new computer and sell the one below to my father. What would you get for under $1000. Computer is used mostly for Internet, Music, and some Gaming.... Can't decide on a P4, or AMD 64.....

Then the platform doesnt matter whether you get AMD or Intel

Can't decide on a P4, or AMD 64.....

For what you've described ... it wont matter much which way you go. Go for the cheaper option
