what do you think of this setup to start with. any other suggestions would help also, but this is what i have picked out so far:

Im using my other current epuipment which is WD 80 gig HD, 512x2 corsair xms ddr. so with this setup, what would be a good buy as far as price and performance for a video card that is pci-e? i would like the price to be reasonable but still able to perform for a little while. what do you suggest?
 
Are you planning to go SLI or just single card? I mean there's no reason for an SLI board if you don't plan to use it...

As for a card, I'd probably go with a 7600GT. You didn't state a price, so I assume that one's pretty resonable :P
