new cpu & board, NEED HELP!

I just got a new cpu and board, but when i turn the power on, its like nothing happens except for the fans turning on and the power led coming on, theres no power to the keyboard, mouse or monitor, or hard drives. ANY IDEAS?
 
The first thing and most common thing I can think of off the bat is a problem with your memory. Either incompatible or not seated properly. Other than that it could be a myriad of things. Any audible sounds other than the fans? What are specific names of the hardware you have?

It wont even work if i dont have any memory in it. I'm not getting any soundsa at all other then the fans. The hardware is Intel Pentium D 805 and a P4M800PRO-M board.
 
hmm. I had the same exact problem with my old AMD XP set up........But it worked fine, but then it did that one day after it crashed.........it never came back to life......even till this day. I cant really tell you what the problem is, i even replaced the PSU thinking that was the problem, it wasnt, replaced the ram, that wasnt the problem, replaced hdd and video card, not the problem. So that just left me with the CPU and mobo........one of them pry got well damaged. After all, i ran it OCed 24/7.

I just read some reviews about that board on newegg, looks like it has alot of complaints, maybe your mobo. What kind of power supply do you have?
