New Dell - Worth It?

Not sure what is with the 1156 builds guys....especially at this budget...and they are not that much cheaper than an X58 setup. Not to mention 1156 only has 16pcie lanes.

"Or so" implies a degree of variance. Second, if you really wanted you could build a 1156 build for $1000 including microsoft office if you really went low end on motherboard and got a cheaper gpu.

Just stating, you said you could build the same rig for around $1200 with monitor and software included.
Not possible. It's ok to be wrong. Not sure why some people just can't admit it.

Anyway, end of my input. I'm not helping.

that computer is really nice and it does include the monitor which is a nice 24 incher, but i think you could do better by yourself... if i wasnt computer savy i would buy that but i am >.<
by the specs it seems solid :D but for that money also i would want 3 GPu's maybe two gtx 275s, meh 1 260 for that money is a big downer but nice 16 gb of ram!

Need Help with Build

I've started putting together the parts recommended by bomberboysk and I'm stuck with installing the Prolima Tech cooler and fan. I've got the backplate installed, but I'm not sure which way the heatsink body is supposed to face. This dictates the direction that I install the aluminum strip adapters. Also which side do I place the cooler master fan and should all of this be installed before mounting the MB?

Lots of questions, but no doubt building is better!! Thanks for your help

P.S. As I get more questions, should I start a new thread or continue with this one? Thanks
