I can tell you off the bat that no quad core AMD is going to be sufficient for quick renders. That Intel build, is really nice.

What you'll want is to bump that GPU up to something like a R9 270X and swap the power supply for a Corsair CX500M or CX600M.

The GPU you paired with that AMD would be nice in the Intel build.

C4C, I see what you mean --- makes sense due to HD Media Accelerator found in the AXR9 model which takes care of HD rendering

For the PSU, can I instead swap Aerocool StrikeX Bronze 600w due to availability issues

Thanks!

Thanks man great list! I'll look at it and shop around. Some of the parts like the RAM might not be readily available at some of the shops at the moment

Do you think a CPU liquid cooling system is necessary? I was thinking of a CPU cooling fan might be sufficient for my use

If you plan to overclock maybe. If not, something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a nice and cheap replacement to the stock fan, its also a lot quieter

Even a CM 212 can do a respectable cooling job to get some moderate overclocking in. Unless you have a burning desire to get every last ounce of performance out of your CPU by overclocking it to the moon then I'd just stick with a cheaper air cooler. You can still overclock fine with the 212 but you can also save yourself some money by going that route.

I am not into overclocking anyway. Would like to let you know I am following your advice. CM 212 it is! Thanks
