New desktop won't recognize burned DVDs.

I got a new desktop but it won't recognize DVDs burned on my Toshiba DVD recorder. I've tried 5 of them and they all play fine on the DVD players and my old desktop. Is there software I can download or will I need to buy an external DVD burner?

Are they +r or -r? Were they actually finalized? What types of files are on them?

+RW. They are finalized. They play good on the old desktop.

It's most likely cause they are +rw, -rw would have better compatibility with other devices.
