new external 1tb harddrive - Should i reformat to ntfs?

i just got a new 1tb wd external harddrive. Would it be a good idea to format it to ntfs? Would i get any more space back as it is only 930 currently?

no 930 is how much it should have, the box may say 1 TB but that is when 1 GB = 1,000 MB and not 1024 like ti should. but YES you should format it. the only reason you would want it to be fat32 is if you are planing on useing it in a mac or linux
