Hi i was wondering what you guys thought about this setup please tell me a rate of 1-10 of how awesome this system is 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest
Are they compatible?
Am I missing anything?
Do I need anything extra for cooling?
Suggestions?

that small fan is for the card holder cooler.

Where you buying from? Would try and avoid rosewill but that model psu may be okay... not sure.

Hitachi hard drives... I'd avoid them personally and stick to Western Digital or Seagate.

Otherwise nice choices. might want to get an aftermarket heatsink as well for better cooling.
 
I'm like Linkin, $200 for the PSU would buy you the Corsair 1000HX. I'm also thinking that two 470s aren't going to like being stacked one on top of the other. I think to run at 16x/16x on the Sabertooth the top GPU will tend to overheat. Might want to look at the Rampage III Extreme or the P6TD Deluxe - Both will allow 16x/16x with some space between the cards for cool air.
 
for the Corsair 1000HX everyone on the reviews are saying that within 20 minuets or 1month ect it has burned out and fried the motherboard. and whats 16x 16x
 
You can't really compare customer feedback when the Roswill only has 6 reviews. The numbers of feedback submitted, 478 for the Corsair versus 6 for the Rosewell, might tell you something - I don't know, it could be a new product on the market. What I do know is that Corsair is considered a superior power supply manufacturer - Much better than Rosewill.
Here's some reviews for the Corsair, HardwareCanucks, jonnyGURU, Hexus, HARDWARE secrets, OVERCLOCKERSCLUB. I'm not finding a single review on the Rosewill.

What I'm telling you about the Sabertooth is that with the PCI-E slot layout your two video cards would be almost touching. The air intake of the top card will be about 3/8" from the top of the lower card. This will result in the top card running significantly hotter than the lower card because it's fan is ingesting only hot air given off of the lower card. Might not be an issue with many cards, but the 470s and 480s are known to run hot anyway. Might not be a problem for you, but I'm betting it will because even my 460s, which are known to run much cooler than the 470s, had heat issues when running in adjacent slots. Just trying to give you a Heads Up of a potential problem.

A solution is to move the lower card down to a lower slot in order to put some air space between the two cards - That will allow the hot air given off by the lower card to be flushed to the back of the case before being pulled into the upper card. The Sabertooth won't accommodate this solution, however, because it only has two PCI-E 2.0 slots.
 
i have never built a computer before but my gaming rig is stacked rite now i bougfht it form cyberpower pc which is the worst company now that i have dealt with them alot of problems.

anyway!

im confused on when i install all my parts i plug it in what happend i put in my windows 7 Disk and then bios are supposed to come up then windows 7? im a little confused on what to do AFTER i put it all together and is there any settings i need to change for doing SLI
 
Following assembly, (hopefully) it will post and look for an operating system. If the windows installation disk is in the drive it should start and you can install the operating system. After Windows is installed then you should update some drivers to the latest versions - These would be chipset drivers, audio drivers, and video drivers. You will get an installation disk with the motherboard with the MB drivers and additional software for the MB that you may or may not want to install. You might have to change a few settings in the BIOS somewhere in this process - For instance RAM will usually run at the MB's default speed until the speed is set in the BIOS.

You've posted up quite an ambitious first build. Things that I might change if I was trying to assemble your build are, a MB with different spacing options on the PCI-E slots, the PSU mentioned earlier, addition of an aftermarket CPU cooler, 1600 or maybe 1866 RAM, and a WD or Samsung HDD.
