How does this look for gaming? Im paying 2,439.07 USD (after tax) Does that sound okay? Any changes that would be good? The ram will be dual chanel, is it worthwile to get 2 hardrives set on RAID 0? Any tips?
Thanks

looks fine to me

what are the individual component prices?
Any changes that would be good?
Scrap the included fan if you want to do any OCing

Probably not, the HDD is not a huge factor in gaming, but the 16MB cache will help. I would stick with the one that you have.

O also keep in mind, im in Canada and I am not shopping around for parts, I am getting them all from the same place.

... and I'm not shopping around for parts...

I'm not sure I understand this... you probably should. I would look at TigerDirect and Newegg (usually the better deal, but not always), compare those, and possibly check with your local electronics store in case they may be having a sale. It does seem a little high to me... even though your processor alone is $500.

Im going to the tiger direct store in Canada, where they will build the computer for me. The waranty that comes with the Comp and parts, is worth the money. Im pretty much asking for tips about the computer, like is there enough ram, better hard drives? Anything like that.

you could go with a x2 4200. its $100 cheaper and the only dfference is it has 521mb less L2 cache which you probably wont kno the difference.

the nec3550 can be had now

a406-1028 :: xion ii black ATX mid-tower case with clear side front usb and audio ports and 450-watt power supply
hope you're getting a good PSU with that... have a look at PSU 101.

A455-2116 :: Asus A8N-SLI NVIDIA Socket 939 ATX Motherboard / Audio / PCI Express / Gigabit LAN / USB 2.0 & Firewire / Serial ATA / RAID / SLI
Not the greatest board ... either get the Premium model or the A8N32SLI-DLX or get a DFI/Sapphire/MSI board

LOL i think yer paying way too much

Scrap the included fan if you want to do any OCing
Whats wrong with the stock fan? Have you seen it?

im in Canada
So am I and excluding my drive-array, my box is roughly 2200.

Newegg (usually the better deal, but not always),
Newegg dont ship to Canada

waranty that comes with the Comp and parts, is worth the money
If that's a question then, hell no, the warranty isnt worth it

ive read that the 4400 has the best performce for hte price compared to the rest of the X2 line.
And ive read that the 4800 has the best for its price, and that the 4600 has the best for its price, and the 3800 has the best for its price..... :)
