It would certainly be a nice pc. whats the need of 3 drives though? Im not sure on this, but it might be better to get 2 6600gt's where you have a sli mobo. ohyeah, im far to lazy to go price all that!

well.. 1 fx6800 is a good choice. if you have the monney afterwards you can buy a second one much cheaper :) this is much like the system i want to buy when i have the monney :D

3 optical drives? reason? well one 6800GT has about the same performance as two 6600GT:s but it's cheaper and better when you want an upgrade, SLI is only use full when you have lots of money and want the best, then you buy two 7800GTX;) and if you can't afford a better card at the time it can be usefull whwn you whant an uprade and buy another card, and you don't need to put out so much money;)

at 17a, thats a pos PSU. consider getting a useful PSU (especially given the hardware your box will be packing). see PSU 101 for ideas

the MSI and DFI sli boards are, imo, superior :)

optical drive 2- lg dvd rom gdr-8163b black
optical drive 3- NEC nd-3500a dvd±r dl black
avoid lg drives, you can get a liteon dvdrom (arguably best for its class if not best period) for same/less. also, the NEC 3520 and 3540 are handsdown superior and use a different chipset than the 3500 (so you cant flash 3500 to 3520/3540).
