Hello, I am looking to purchase a new gaming computer, and it will be my first serious gaming computer, so I would like a great one. I am looking to be able to run the current games at maximum settings as well. If you are an experienced gamer, and know a lot about gaming pcs please let me know what specifications I want to have for my new machine. Any input is appreciated, Thanks.

Could take off the h100i depending if you plan to overclock. Nice build to fit the 1500 though.

I would go with an i7 4790K. A 980 is an Nvidia GTX 980, just a step above the GTX 970.
