Looking At A New Build would like to get some advice

My Budget is 525-550

Here is what I'm looking at so far...
Via Amazon.com and I can go ebay route and the it does not need to be new I will take used parts

I want to Stick with Nvidia for the Graphics card

AMD FX-8150
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 16gb (2x 6gb) DDR3 PC3 12800
Total is around $384 via amazon with these items

new 1000w power supply

I'm looking at a GTX 650 TI on amazon for $143
But I would like to get a card around the same price range that can do SLI for future or should I stay non SLI?

Games I currently play
Battlefield 2 , forgotten hope 2 , and project reality, Games on Steam, insurgency, Il2 1946 with a bunch of add on packs

Want to upgrade to play the following
Arma II, Day Z, BF3, the newer CODs

I got 2 80 GB WD SATA Drives (currently in old computer dual boot Win 7 (32BIT) & Win XP Pro)
Also have a 300gb Maxtor Drive (PATA) that I keep all my games on

any difference if I switch to win 7 64 vs 32bit with the newer games I want to play? (if I switch to 64bit I would RAID the 80gb drives, and throw Win XP on the 300gb game drive to play BF2 FH2, Project Reality)

so i guess my question is #1 is this a good setup? if you please feel free to tweak to keep in my budget range

#2 SLI or not to SLI?

Thanks!

You should look into GTX 660Ti at least...?

Then you can save money on getting like 600W ~ 700W PSU instead of 1000W, then no needed to SLI.

GTX 670 would be even better :P

If you're not planning to oc and you buy it pure for gaming, I would take an i5.
Also, is there any reason why you don't want to go with an amd card?
The hd7870 would be better if you find the gtx660 ti too expensive...
The fx6300 would be equal to the fx8320 in gaming terms, if you're doing more, get the 8core (rendering, video editing,...)

Problem im seeing is you want to use pata drives, you may want to buy yourself a cheap 500Gb SATA drive so that you have less issues with compatibility. So far with a i5 3450 and a gtx650Ti i come to around 580 bucks, around 550 with rebates...probably swapping to a i3, you could sneak in a 660Ti and have a much better gaming experience:

Suggestions:

i3 3300 series
8Gb ram
H or Z 7x board
660 or 660Ti by nVidia
500-600W supply, you dont need much, the intel cpu and nvidia card dont suck much juice at all.
