So, I've decided I want to learn more about computers because I want to get into gaming. I'm over the consoles. I know basically nothing about parts and hardware. I have looked into PC companies who have it prebuilt for you, but I feel like I want to try and build one on my own. Problem is I don't know how to, so I will have to watch lots of youtube videos. This is where I need help, I hope anyone that looks at this can give me a good setup including a monitor. (I already have my keyboard and mouse picked!) So, on the monitor and tower itself, I have a budget of $400-700. (Can go over but main GOAL is to play fps games on high settings. I.E. Arma, Battlefield, Counterstrike.) Thank you so much for any help, advice, or comments you give me! I appreciate everyone and am open-minded.

The main reason of my suggestion of $18 cpu cooler due to intel G3258 is overclockable.
$15 DVD drive just make life easiler when needed. Although it is not necessary nowaday.

Has anyone recommended PartPicker to you yet? It's a site where you can insert your budget and they'll give you a build for the price. Very handy
