New Gaming Setup

I'm pretty sure these will be the parts I'm going to use to make my new PC. It's going to be used mostly for gaming. I don't need a large hard drive either. I also have extras lying around home. Thoughts? Comments?

i also was going to do a post like this but my question is, if i were to buy all the same stuff that dcharks would buy, when all of teh parts came could i put it together or would i need nething else besides the things on this list???

I'm pretty sure that's everything you would need!
 
Yeah, I kind of need a floppy drive. The computers we have at school are HORRIBLE and teachers ask that we use floppys to save information for presentations and such.
 
plus you never know if you'll need to update some sort of drivers with a floppy...
its just "better safe than sorry"

so the second i get it outta the box i can put it all together??? just wanna make sure so when i get my comp list i dont have to worry about anything else
 
pretty sure, the only thing you might want are like cable ties/sleeves to keep your case tidy and allow good airflow (and looks:p)

Agreed. My son's school has a rule that only floppies be used for data transportation beacuse of 'viruses'. Now how stupid is that? They obviously have no idea how a virus or a computer works. They use new PCs that aren't exactly the top of the line (Celerons!). So for the heck of it, all my PCs have floppy drives.
 
k thx... i just didnt wanted to blow my new system out by forgetting a cord or something... im have ch00bish and half smart out comp setups:)
