New Gigabyte Motherboard

Just purchased and installed a gigabyte motherboard with an Intel Core i3 processor and the cpu fan doesn't even turn on. Any ideas? Took the fan and processor back out and double checked looks ok. The power supply works fine on another board I have. Left the memory out, still nothing. Any ideas?

Might just be a bad fan. Try the fan on another fan header or try a different cpu fan.
