So I built this new comp and just finished putting it together. Everything powers and all but I get no signal from my monitor. The fan on the video card starts up as well but I don't get any picture. I'm just looking @ a blank screen. Also theres no beeps when I start up so it can't be a bad install. Any advice? I can try to swap for a PCI card but I don't have any spares >_< I'm back on my old system while I get some help on this issue.

Make sure your connections are secure and if possible try your card on another system to see if its the card at fault.

Yes

Well the same happened to me. What it was in my case was a slightly loose connection on the VGA (DVI) cable. The other time it happened, it was the fault of a faulty (half-dead) processor. The third time I came across it, it was a damaged motherboard with one shot capacitor. As mentioned above, check connections and then try the graphics card out elsewhere. If that works, then it could be a damaged motherboard, CPU or the GPU.
