Ok, so I plan on building a computer when AMD prices drop. Are the parts I picked good choices and are they compatible ?

My budget is 1200-1300 US DOLLARS. That does not include moniter, keyboard, mouse or speakers.

What do you guys think ? Thanks

Well I take it you are a gamer.

Thats a nice system all looks ok, nothing that won't be compatible.

The one thing I recommended to a friend recently was not going with a case that includes a power supply especially at too low a price. That lesson was learned with a case ordered with one included that never made it past 3 weeks! The power supply need there will depend on what you will be doing with the system. If you are planning on using it for gaming/OCing then you may want to look over other makes with a little more power.
The Sony dvd drive will work out there. That should prove to be a very reliable drive. The preference here would be on the Sony DRU810A that is also a burner that can easily run dvds for playback as well. 2GB of Corsair gaming memory there. The 7600GT should work out while others will point at the newest 7900 GT as the performer. And Asus has excellent online support so don't worry about getting updates for bios and other things. The last item besides directing you to a few advisory links provided by the adminstrator is a personal preference for the Western Digital 320gb drive over Seagate. But that is personal while Seagate does a better job then Maxtor too often.
The links here where provided to give guidelines for building systems according to different budgets as well as choosing your cpu.
