New Hard drive, no directory

Hi,

I installed a second hard drive in my pc, but it does not show up under my computer.

Everything seems to be working properly. It shows up in device manager, and is set up as the primary slave when I look in the bios.

Only my primary ( "c") & partition("d") show up under "MY COMPUTER" as hard drives

Whats the deal here?:o

How big is the hard drive ? Running xp I assume ? Sp1 or later.

Go to Administration Tools, Computer Management then Disk Management and it should show up there. Just fromat in there and you should be good to go.
If you dont have SP1 or 2 you will have to run the Utility disc. Also go in BIOS and make sure BIOS is seeing the new drive and save the settings and exit.
