Windows keeps giving me a blue screen of death every time i try to install on my new HDD. I just got done building this system and the HDD passed testing on my computer. What is going on?

Does the bios see the hd? Is it ide or sata? Are the jumper setting correct? (master) Does the hd spin up, make noise? Which windows are you using?

Yes, bios sees the HD when jumper setting is at single drive or cable select. It is a IDE hard drive,160 GB, and I have it formated and partitioned to 137.4. Have done two diffrent HD tests both passed. I am trying to install windows XP sp 2, and I have tried XP with no sp and still gives me same stop error.

Holy snikies I got it to work by getting the RAID drivers off my MOBO manufacturers website! Now to just get it to detect it as more than 32Gigs.
