New Hard Drive

I recently installed a 2nd hard drive

Windows loaded up and it said it found new hardware and had installed it. I went into device manager and the 2nd hard drive and it's enabled. But when I go into My computer it is not there thus i can't use it.

Any Help or suggestions????

You need to format it as it's RAW unpartitioned space and Windows can't see it. You can use GPartEd from Source Forge to create an NTFS partition if it's XP or Vista. It has to be FAT if it's pre-XP I think.

In your control panel go to Administrative tools-computer management-disk management. The drive should be there, just right click on it at the bottom. Partition and format.
