New HD or New PC?

I have a 4-5 yr old Dell Inspiron 560, and the HD just crashed over the weekend. I was receiving notifications that this was coming for a day or so, so fortunately was able to back up what I needed.

Now I am trying to decide if it's worth it to get a new HD or just get a new PC. Difference of about $300 or so. I know this isn't a high-end PC by any stretch of the imagination, and I've never replaced a HD, so just wondering if it's worth doing that on a lower end PC that's somewhat old now.
 
Depends on budget, you can get a HDD from somewhere like Microcenter for ~$40 to get the PC going again. If you want to upgrade in the future you can just use the HDD with it or leave it and get another one.
