Kornowski VIP Member May 11, 2008 #1 I just got my Seagate 500GB HDD. I'm trying to install windows on it. But when I'm asked to select a location to install, my new HDD isn't shown. It doesn't have any jumpers on it either. Any ideas?

pbdr New Member May 11, 2008 #2 is this going to be your main drive? If so, you should put a jumper across the two pins on the far left. With seagate, no jumper = slave drive, which could be the problem.
