New IP help to reduce lag in game?

For the past few months, I have been getting a lot of lag spikes in online games. I have never experienced this problem before. In the time period that I was lagging, the game servers were not under any kinds of maintenance. I'm using a wired connection so I don't see what the problems are. I have scanned my computer with avast, AVG, Malwarebytes, Adware, Antivir, Norton, and spybot search & destroy and nothing suspicious came up. I have DSL. This is my speed:

Will getting a new IP solve my problem? if not, what else can i do to solve this problem?

No, its more than likely line quality of your dsl. At my moms house we pay for 6mbps internet, but cant get any better than 1.5mbps, because the line quality is horrible.

ofc I know IP is different to ISP (Internet Service Provider). What I mean is that if u change to another ISP, u will have a new IP address. Lucky charm was talking about changing IP so I assume the only thing he/she can do is switching ISP.
