Hello everyone,
Well i recently got a dell studio 15, 3gb ram, dual 2ghz proccesor, 230g hard drive, thats about the basics. And my mom also has a dell, which is a different model, i cnt think of it right now. 5125 maybe? anyways i am having internet troubles. we have wireless, and we both pick up the same signal. The singal sender thing(router maybe? idk..) is upstairs. when im upstairs, i cannot connect. when im down in the basement i can. also, i noticed my mom downloaded something, it went at a couple megabytes per second. When i download something, like world of warcraft patches, MAXIMUM is 100kb per second, down to like 6.
and when i play wow, my latency will be around 200, then go to 2000!
its not cool, and im not really that computer smart. so any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!
