New Laptop. HELP!

Hi!

I am buying a Laptop. Trying to anyway. MY most demanding need for it is Photoshop as i do a significant amount of photo editing.

Im pretty clueless about laptops but have been doing as much reading as possible and have come up with the following options. Anyone have any advice on which are best suited to me? I want something that can deal with editing mutiple photos simultaneously, internet browsing, itunes all at the same time.

To me the Acer 5740 seems a great deal. Id be interested to know how the combination of i5 and 3GB RAM compares with an i3 and 4GB RAM.

Do i even need an i5 processor. Will a SONY screen be better quality than an ACER?

For photoshop shouldn't the most important aspect of the laptop be your GPU? I'd combine the i5 with the best GPU out of your selection and there's your answer.
 
I am definitely feeling that acer 5740. its pimp. but yeah gpu is crucial so tell us what gpu's each one has and we can select for u. but yeah i5 is better than i3 every time
 
Thanks for help so far. I have had a look into their GPU's and although i cant find any info on the ACER these are the GPU cards involved

NVIDIA GeForce G 105M
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5145 512MB
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 Graphics
AMD M880G


So if anyone could recommned which is better or are they all very similar?

If you buy a new laptop; it will be a bit expensive and also would add up for the maintenance expenditure. I know one company which offers laptops on rent and at affordable prices. Try it...!
