So I got my tax return and decided it's time for a new laptop. I wanted to get every ones opinion on these too that I'm looking at....

Dell Adamo Desire
Processor Type: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.1 GHz
Screen Size: 13 inch
Memory (RAM): 4 GB
Hard Drive Capacity: 256 GB SSD

Are you sure you want a laptop? Wouldn't you rather upgrade your build? xD

Anywho, you probably need a laptop right now rather than a desktop. Eh, how about those i7 laptops? I haven't really used any of them, but I heard they're good.
 
I would like to upgrade my build but my living situation is going to be slightly more on the nomadic side so I'm looking for a small/light but powerful option. Right now I could get the Adamo for around 1500 and the e4300 for around 900.

I would be open to other options. I don't want anything bigger then 13 inches or smaller then 12... :)
 
Dude, in this case, for that amount of money get a 13" Macbook pro. If you don't want to use mac os, than I'd suggest a Lenovo Ideapad the U series..

If you really want to choose out of those two get the dell adamo, but remember you'll need an external rom drive.
 
I found a good deal on Ebay for a maxed out 4300 for cheep.

Roms are obsolete in my mind. I'm used to not using a rom with my EEE.
