This mouse is simply amazing. I've been using a friend's MX Revolution which is quite fantastic, but I just got the g9 this morning and it is absolutely fantastic. For anyone who likes ridiculous customization and precise mouse movements, get this now.
 
G7, right between not so good g5, and (in your opinion) extremely good g9. Personally the g9 does look to small for my huge hands, plus its kinda funny shaped and doesnt look comfortable. Although, what is the DPI if the g9? (Could make all the difference).
 
The grip looks funny but it is amazing. There are 2 dedicated buttons on top of the g9 to change DPI between 400 800 1600 and 3200. Also the LED display tells you which setting you are at, and you can change the color of the LED depending on which profile you are using. You can set it to automatically change color/button-settings/DPI depending on what program/profile you move to, and all the buttons are customizable. It also comes with 2 different grips. I have it right next to an MX rev and it's about a half an inch shorter in length and half an inch shorter in height. I got mine brand new on ebay for 65.

So is the higher the DPI you use while gaming the more accurate your mouse aim becomes? How does DPI help you?

DPI stands for dots per inch. Its how many dots your mouse can see in an inch. The more dots it can see, the less your hand has to move to get the mouse where you want it.

(Not the greatest explanation, but you get it). :)
