New Macbook pro, options for windows?

I just got a new Macbook Pro, and I'm planning on putting XP on it to allow me to get rid of my PC and still play windows-only games. However, I'm having trouble finding a copy of XP. Retail stores don't carry it anymore, and I'm reluctant to go through ebay or amazon because I keep seeing reports of used copies with invalid keys being sold as new. Where would I find a complete(not upgrade) copy of XP home or Professional?

Also, is there any significant advantage to Parallels over Boot Camp? I'll only be gaming on the XP side.

The new computer is 15.4" 1680x1050, Intel i7 2.66GHz 4MB L3 cache, 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM, 500GB Serial ATA 7200 RPM, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 330M, OSX Snow Leopard.

(Actually, said computer is in the mail and should show up tomorrow-they didn't have one in-store with a 7200rpm HD, and had to ship it to me from China  ).

Ok, noob question here. How is the system builder's version different from the normal retail version? All the product description says is that it requires the assembler to provide user end support, which is really vague.

I've used XP a fair bit but never installed it (or any OS) and have done very little with drivers.

Sorry if i'm wrong but isn't it if you have a mac you have to buy a certain version "Mac for windows" if this isn't the case disregard this post i have no experience with apple computers what so ever.

Nope. Bootcamp comes pre-installed on macs and all you have to do is ave a copy of Windows you can install.

P.S. My boss and I have some copies of XP Pro for sale on eBay. They are OEM and genuine.

Auction has been pulled?

sjrysb, there are too many good games out there that only run on windows. It's sad, but that's just how it is.
