New medium budget build

Well right now I'm stuck with a hp pavilion, and I decided I wanted to upgrade. I then found a lot about the computer was different from what I expected; some being the fact that it's socket a and agp based. So I've decided to forget about upgrading and build my own pc.
Here's what I am hoping to get, remember, it's on a +or- 800$ budget.

Processor: AMD 3200 2.0Ghz + 1Ghz FBS, Socket 939
Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4-F Pci-e \
Video Card: Chaintech 6600GT Pci-e
Case/Psu: Nzxt Trinity Case w/400W Psu (Will change out with a 520W or 450W name brand in a few weeks)
RAM - I'll be using a Gig of G.Skill and maybe another Gig of Corsair ValueSelect in a few weeks
Optical Drives - Sony DVDRW/CDRW Drive
Asus X16 DVD Drive
Hard Drive - Undecided, but looking at the Seagate 200Gig 7200RPM 8Mb cache

Look good?
I'll be gaming on Half Life 2, CS: Source, RCT3, F.E.A.R (At medium settings), Doom 3, Battlefield 2, and C&C Generals
 
Why mix RAM brands? You're not *supposed* to due to compatibility problems that can arise either immediately or later on, but if you have to it's really no big for the most part.

Other than that, looks like a solid machine.
 
Well, I was at a slight dilemma; I had the 512mb in my current computer, and I'm going to use it with my g.skill. I made a mistake up there, I meant to say that I have 512 samsung generic brand + 512 g.skill performance.
 
Oh ok, well you can mix it as long as it doesn't give you errors. IF you notice alot of BSOD's or system hangs you might need to stick with 512MB of G.Skill until you cna afford more of it. Usually RAM is compatible with other brands, it's just the motherboard that is picky. 1GB should be a good start, fi you notice your games load slow or you system isn't as fast to respond as you want it to be later, you can upgrade to 1.5 or 2GB as you can afford it.
 
1 gig of the value ram would be a better bet.
Why not get Athalon 64 3000 venice core and o/c slightly to 3200 or better specs. Save a little money and bump the vid crd to a 6800?
 
Well I already have the video card; I got it since I rma'ed my other one, and decided to be patient, get the pci-e version of the 6600gt, and wait until I get the other components.
If I would have waited a little bit, I would have gotten the 6800GS in a hurry, but I only had 3 more days to buy the product and rma the other one.
Basically I got the 3200 because I don't plan on overclocking until there are games that I use that start getting 'bottlenecked' so to speak by my processor, video card, etc.
The 3200 was only 20 more $ anyways :P
