New memory possibly causing problems

So I was curious if putting in Cosair value select RAM in with my pc would cause problems...it is CAS 3 pc 3200 ddr ram, and I put in a gig with the other gig of some random RAM i got from CompUSA. It seems my PC has been crashing often since putting it in. If so is there any sort of clocking or somthing I could do to fix this issue. It happens mostly while playing games.

If the boards not doing it auto, you need to find the voltage and timing of both and find a middle ground, most will run together. If not I have had some Ram that flat out would not run with other brands without errors not matter what you set it on.
