new memory????

hello i have the following system

AMD 2500+
80Gig SATA HD
6600GT graphics card
Asus A7n8x-e deluxe mobo



i currnetly have 1.25 MB of "no make" memory (i think its PC2700)

would i see an improvement if i bought some new "branded" memory?

i mainly use my PC for playing games on the internet.

I suspect 1.25MB or memory is a typo but going to more expensive brand name memory will not make a major improvement
 
i think you mean 128Mb?
and, like cromwell said, you wont notice a difference if you buy branded RAM instead. however, if you add more RAM, you will see a improvement
 
lol well actually i meant 1.25 gb of memory i know its a lot but i was jsut wondering if memory from companies like corsair give better performnce in gaming
