New mobo/cpu. Any tips?

Hey guys, I got a new mobo and CPU, in sig. Before I power it up for the first time with the new hardware, is there anything I should know/do? What about once its powered up? Go into BIOS first, reformat, Safe Mode? Hopefully I wont need to reformat, but I may have to. Any suggestions?

well I replaced my mobo a couple months back, I think I needed to reinstall sound and video drivers, and some programs didn't work correctly so I uninstalled and reinstalled them, Outlook was one I believe but most things worked correctly. WMP was a pain though, had to try to uninstall it and reinstall a newer version eventually to get it working again. You may need to do more if the board is a lot different than your old one, mine was the exact same model. But it should boot and be for the most part functional
