New Mobo Problem

Hey everyone. i just built a computer for my friend's dad and I had a IDE hard drive and an IDE DVD drive installed and then I needed to move somethings around on the inside and after re-plugging everything back together, both IDE drives don't show up. They don't show up in windows or the BIOS. What going on?

Do you have your jumper settings set correctly?? You are able to load into windows but the drive is not appearing??

Yes, what do you mean by setting the jumper. Sorry that i ask but I haven't worked with IDE in a long time. All I have is the IDE cable plugged into both and the molex power and thats it.

you have a cd/dvd drive and a HDD hooked to the same cable you need to set the jumper on the back of the drives... top plug-in set to master and middle connecter set to slave inorder for this to work.. correclty
