as long as your CPU is able to work on it and you set the bios correctly then you should be fine.

When you say boot up does that mean Windows booting that was installed on the old motherboard? If so and the new board has a different chipset your going to run into problems.

There is a program that does in but i can't remember the name of it and i have it on my desktop... but currently at school... so i can't tell you... maybe some else can name "a" program that does it.
