I just bought and new LG E2360 monitor and for what ever reason it keeps flashing on and off.
when i 1st got it, i just plugged it in and nothing happened. so i installed the drivers and got the screen to come on, but after a few moments the screen started flashing from black to my desktop. the longer it did that the shorter amount of time it showed my desktop.
i ended up returning the monitor, thinking that it was something wrong with it, and i got another one. same problem.
only time i got it to stop flashing was when i set the resolution from 1920x1080 to the resolution right below that (can't remember what it was.). the monitor's recommend resolution is 1920x1080.
now im thinking it might be something with my video card not being compatible or something. i have a gigabyte GTX 460 1GB 256-bit. i have been using this card for about a year with no problems, works great with my older monitor.
anyone have any ideas what my problem might be? and how to fix it?
