New Monitor looks blurry please help

Well i jus bought a 19 inch crt the viewsonic g90f and juss got it in today. well my problem is that its blurry towards the middle of the screen u can totally tell on my desk top the middle icons are blurry while the icons on top and bottom look fine im really dissapointed dunno whats wrong. Have ne of you guys experienced this???
 
Sometimes monitors have a convergence option in the monitors setup on the monitor itself. If it does, using this can pull blurriness from the screen sometimes. The monitor may not have the option, but if it does try it and see if it works. Convergence blends your 3 primary colors vertically and horizontally to sharpen the screen resolution.
